== Background ==
When Dr. Azam Ali was studying in the eighth class, financial difficulties forced him to discontinue his education for a year. During that time, he worked as a wall poster boy, pasting posters and banners on streets to support his family. While working, he came across the slogan of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan – ''"Sab Padhe – Sab Bade"'', which inspired him deeply.

Having experienced poverty and interruptions in education during his early life, he recognized the importance of accessible education. Motivated by social responsibility, he established the foundation to support students facing similar challenges.

Chamak Foundation was officially launched in the presence of social activist Professor Shantha Sinha.
