Asim Jafri started his career immediately after graduation in 2013, landing his first job in a local theatre. He played the lead role of Chandu in a play called "Ek Aur Dronacharya" and later portrayed Swami Ramanand in "Das Din Ka Anshan," staged at Gaity, Shimla's famous theatre hall.

Asim's career took off as he ventured into casting direction for short films, including "Ayaan," "Judgment," "Safar," "Obsession," and "Rickshawala in Lockdown." He also tried his hand at writing and directing, producing the short film "Ek Din" in 2015.

In 2020, Asim worked as a casting assistant for the Star Bharat serial "Teri Ladli Mai" and directed the short film "Chaak." The following year, he directed another short film, "Holi Awareness."
