He completed his dual Doctorate in Physical Education & Education Administration and holds a Master's degree in Diplomacy & International Relations. Dr. Dinesh Sabnis has been actively engaged in the field of education and international relations for the past two decades. In addition to his work in education, Dr. Sabnis has held various appointments and positions of responsibility. He serves as the Addl. Representative in the United Nations Geneva Office for the World Fund for Development & Planning (WFDP), an Intergovernmental Organization with a multilateral agreement with various governments. He has also been appointed as the Secretary General of the UN Peacekeepers Veterans Association AISP SPIA (Soldiers for Peace International Association) and position of Commander in Chief for Indian Delegation in Lazarus Union, both organizations being with general consultative status in the UN ECOSOC.

For his commendable work in diplomacy Dr.Sabnis was honored with special decree of rank Colonel (Hon) by Governor of Kentucky- USA in year 2022.[6]
