Srikar Chitta (born July 14) is an Indian American high school student and published author, best known for his story books Just Another Horrible Year, The Odious Orphanage of the Pape City, and Devil in Disguise.[1][2][3]
Early Life and Education
Srikar Chitta was born into a family of software engineers. His father, Sai Krishna Chitta, is from Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, and his mother, Ramya Chitta, is from Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. Srikar is currently a high school student in Hyderabad, India. From a young age, he developed a passion for writing and has always dreamed of becoming a published author. He is also interested in new technologies and science.[4]
Career
Srikar began writing at a young age, publishing his first article on Mother's Day at the age of seven. He wrote his first novel at nine and continued to publish various articles and short stories. His debut book, Just Another Horrible Year, was published in July 2020.
In addition to his writing, Srikar works as a freelance copy editor for the BE community, lead video editor, and website manager at Beyond the Box. He also serves as a consultant blogger and expert representative for R&D in language sciences at Astound & Business Solutions LLP, under the guidance of his teacher, Suraj Acharya. Srikar is a Google-certified Python Level-2 coder.
Personal Life
Srikar is currently a high school student. He credits many of his teachers, including Anupama Dalmia, Ami Iyer, Bithi Roy, and Suraj Acharya, for their support and guidance in his journey as a writer.
