Manjit Hans is a prominent figure in the Punjabi television industry, known for his innovative contributions. With over 17 years of experience, he has been a driving force behind several successful channels and is currently the Senior Vice President at Zee Entertainment Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. and Content Head at Zee Punjabi.[1][2]
Early life and education
Manjit Hans completed his fine arts degree in Ukraine before venturing into the field of television. His passion for creativity and innovation led him to explore animation, where he gained valuable experience.[3][4]
Career
Manjit Hans's career in the television industry began with a realization of the gap between regional and national TV channels in terms of scale and popularity. This realization fueled his ambition to create a Punjabi TV channel that could rival national channels in content quality and viewership.
He took the first step towards this vision by launching Divya Channel, which has since become a global success. This initial success inspired him to launch more channels, including Josh TV, Pitara, and Zee Punjabi, all of which have made significant contributions to the Punjabi television industry.
Manjit Hans has worked with almost all major Punjabi singers and actors, including Diljit Dosanjh, Sonam Bajwa, Gippy Grewal, Neeru Bajwa, Ammy Virk, Karan Aujla, Sidhu Moosewala, Jassie Gill, Master Saleem, Jasmine Sandlas, Gurdass Maan, Babbu Maan, Garry Sandhu, Jimmy Shergill, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Kapil Sharma, Shehnaaz Gill, Wamiqa Gabbi, and many more.[5]
He has also produced hit shows, including:

He was honored with the Shan-e-Punjab Award by Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi for his remarkable achievements and contributions to the industry. Recently, he was awarded a Doctorate with a PhD in Media & Entertainment from Mount Elbert Central University, USA.
