Education and Career

Ankur Kumar graduated as a Gold Medalist with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from Jamia Millia Islamia University in 2011. He furthered his academic journey by earning a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) with top honors from Lovely Professional University in 2013. In 2017, Kumar achieved the JRF/NET (Joint Research Fellowship/National Eligibility Test) from the University Grants Commission (UGC). Kumar has been actively involved with the Directorate of Education in the Government of NCT of Delhi.[3]

Work Style

Ankur Kumar's body of work is a harmonious blend of conceptual and abstract tachisme, expressed through a diverse range of artistic mediums including paintings, drawings, printmaking, photography, sculpture, ceramics, creative installations, tribal art, and folk art. His most famous paintings are in ink, Acrylic Colors, pastel, and Mix Media. He has also worked in oil medium and is known for his Sustainable medium and abstract drawings.[4][5]
