Binod Mallick (born April 29, 1991) is a prominent Indian painter, printmaker, and animator known for his versatile expertise in painting, printmaking, digital art, and animation. Born and raised in Kanchrapara, West Bengal, India, Binod's artistic journey is deeply rooted in his humble beginnings and enriched by a profound connection to the working-class society.[1][2]

Binod Mallick was born on April 29, 1991, in Kanchrapara, West Bengal, India. He was born into a working-class family, with a coal miner father and a homemaker mother. His childhood in the camp of Hyderabad and later experiences in Kolkata provided the foundation for his artistic sensibilities. Binod pursued a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from Burdwan College and further honed his skills with a Master's degree in Printmaking from Visva-Bharati University in Santiniketan.[3]

The trust, registered by NITI Aayog and MSME, focuses on skill development for economically disadvantaged children, collaborating with artists from Bengal, Assam, Rajasthan, and Mumbai.
In 2023, Binod initiated the Newspaper Department and Education Organization named "Indian Contemporary Art and Culture," registered by MSME and holding an ISO certificate. This educational platform offers opportunities for talented students with innovative ideas and positive energy.[7]
